Thanks so much for joining us at The 65th annual Historic Irvington Halloween Festival. It was a record year for us! Police estimated over 10,000 attended on Saturday, Oct. 29th alone.
The festival would not have been possible without the generous contributions from our sponsors: Community Hospital East, Erie Insurance, UAW/Pure Power Technologies, HCC Medical Insurance Services, Sun King Brewery and Ace Hardware – with additional support from: Sport Graphics, Jockamo Pizza, Black Acre Brewing Co., George Thomas Florist, Cindy Kirchhofer, Benjaming Hunter, PNC, The Irvington Branch Library, homespun: modern handmade, InSite Art Consulting Group, CSL Plasma, Irvington Merchants Association, Bookmamas, Pat Miller, Snips Salon and Montgomery Tent & Awning.
A special thanks to our hardworking festival committee members: Isabel Webb, Brian Mack, Kyla Thompson, Bill Aughe, Steve Bridge, Rita Chapman, Tracia Fernkas, Stephen Giles, Kent Hankins, Dale Harkins, Jason Larrison, Will McCarty, Leslie Meier, Stan Denski, Michelle Michaelis, Ryan & Christy Owings, Krista Southern, Eric Wilson, Ryan Thomas, Steven Shattuck, and last but certainly not least, the dozens of volunteers that stepped up to support our events this week.
Thanks to Katie Anne Null, our 2011 Miss Irvington Halloween, and her court for representing the neighborhood and the festival at every event.
Additional Thanks to:
The Circle City Socialites, The Race City Rebels, Moeller Printing, High-End Concepts, Jim Schrum Sound, Irvington Insurance, Irvington United Methodist Church, Irvington Presbyterian Church, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, The Legend Cafe, The Irving Theater, Papa Roux, Kevin & Dave of Audio Diner, NEAL Artistry, Friends of Irving Circle, REACT, IMPD, IFD, Seals Ambulance Service, Pat & Leslie Walsh, Walgreens, Marsh, Tuxedo Brothers, Last Chance Wrecker, James White, The City of Indianapolis, Heartland Printworks, everyone who donated anything and pretty much everyone else in this amazing neighborhood!
Lastly, we wanted to single-out our 2011 chairman, Seth Brooke. He took the lead this year and knocked it out of the park. We couldn’t have had our best year ever without his tireless dedication, and the patience of his wife who put up with all the late nights. Thanks, Seth.
We hope you’ll join us in 2012 for the 66th annual Historic Irvington Halloween Festival, scheduled for Oct 27th-Nov 3rd.
