A Night Out In Sleepy Hollow

Thursday October 26, 2023

Irving Circle Park

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Irvington was named for Washington Irving (born April 3, 1783, died November 28, 1859), an American short story writer, historian, and diplomat of the early 19th century. He is best known for the short stories “Rip Van Winkle" (1819) and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (1820).

Join us for this special Irvington tradition. You will hear haunted tales from our writing contest winners....and what Halloween is complete without the reading of Sleepy Hollow by our surprise guest reader.
