On Saturday October 29th at 4pm, thousands will line up on South Audubon to participate in the Irvington Halloween Festival costume parade:
On Saturday afternoon, FourSquare users should look for a special venue titled: “Irvington Costume Parade Sponsored by http://www.hccmis.com”
For every FourSquare check-in to the venue on the day of the parade, publicly shared on Twitter, our sponsor HCC Medical Insurance Services will donate $1 to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc. up to a maximum of $1,000.00.

Nicole Kobrowski (Haunted Backwoods),
Wanda Lou Willis (Haunted Hoosier Trails) and
Wes Sturdevant & Kris May (The Legend of Sleepy & Hollow) will all be signing and discussing their respective books.
Kris May (illustrator of The Legend of Sleepy & Hollow) will be displaying some of his original drawings that day as well.

Bluesman J.J. Stenzoski and accompanying violinist, Irina Povarova will perform their distinctive brand of Delta blues in Bookmamas’ Blues Cellar from 6-8 pm this evening.
Day of the Dead event: Sunday, Oct. 30, 2:00-5:00 pm
2 pm – Creating journal entries, altar additions and music
3 pm – A procession to the Gathering Area and refreshments
4 pm – A Dance with Death and a sharing of journal entries.

The Indiana Blood Center Bloodmobile will be in the library parking lot on October 29th from 9am-Noon. People can reserve times for a blood draw at this link. This is a great opportunity for Irvington to give back!
