We are currently scheduling our line up of events for the 2010 Festival.

Pleasant Run Run: The Pleasant Run Run is a 5 Mile Run, 3 Mile Family Walk, and a 1 Mile Kids Fun Run through the beautiful winding tree-lined streets of Historic Irvington.

Ghost Tours: Al and Rhonda Hunter and their team of paranormal specialists will revist the ghostly past and present of historic Irvington. Along with several haunted tales, Al and Rhonda will give you their chilling account of what they have actually witnessed while gathering evidence about Irvington’s most infamous history.

Cabaret Poe: Cabaret Poe is a full scale, “broadway style” musical featuring the works of Edgar Allan Poe with brand new dramatization and original music. The production blends the classic macabre fashion of Poe with humor and fright while conjuring up most of the American literary master’s most famous stories and poems. Some of the pieces re-imagined for the musical are The Fall of the House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Masque of Red Death, The Black Cat, Annabelle Lee and of course The Raven.

Live Music at Irvington United Methodist Church, Lazy Daze Coffee House, The Irving Theatre, and along Washington Street.

Haunted Puppet Show: A ghoulish cast of traditional Halloween characters. ..a Juggling Scarecrow, Dancing Skeleton & Ghost, Alien, The Flying Purple People Eater, a Kitchen Witch, Concert Pianist & Dracula…all will amaze you with their trickery while they perform on a charming Halloween set.

Art Auction benefiting Irvington and East Side non-profit organizations.

Haunted Movie Night at the Irvington Library and the Irving Theatre.

Spooky Stories at the Irving Circle:  Join us once again for a night of spooky storytelling with Irvington’s favorite Edgar Allen Poe enthusiast, John Richard Luther II.

…and much more, including Roller Derby, INDIEana Handicraft Exchange and dozens of area vendors, restaurants and non-profits!
