Jennifer Constantine was crowned as the 2009 Miss Irvington Halloween Festival Queen.

In addition to wearing the crown for the year, Jennifer walks away with a $1,000 college scholarship and is eligible to compete in the 2010 Indiana State Festival Pageant for an opportunity to win an additional scholarship. Look for our Queen this week at some of our Halloween festival activities and on Saturday in the parade.

1st runner-up honors and $500 were awarded to Natalie Warner and 2nd runner up honors and $250 went to Anna Preuschl.

All of the contestants this year were unbelievably outstanding and the intense competition made it difficult for the judges to make a decision. Deliberation took nearly 30 minutes while the room waited on the edge of their seats.

A special thanks to the folks at Snips Salon for organizing the entire event. And thanks to our judges and sponsors for making the event a such a great success.

Jennifer is a Senior at Cathedral High School.  She runs cross country and track, loves all kinds of music and anything that is related to art.  She was awarded Miss Photogenic in the National American Miss Pageant.  She has also received four mental attitude awards for C.Y.O. sports.
