Five local high schools and two colleges will be represented at the Fourth Annual Miss Irvington Halloween Festival Program to be presented on Saturday October 20th. Nine young ladies from Scecina, Cathedral, Warren Township, Perry Meridian, and Arsenal Technical high schools will compete alongside girls from Indiana State University and Ivy Tech College for $1,850 in scholarship money.
Title sponsor, Snips in Historic Irvington, has lined up five local and national leaders to judge the girls in five challenging categories, including an in-depth interview.
The finals, consisting of competitions in Halloween costumes, festival spirit and evening gown, will start at 6pm at the Irvington Presbyterian Church, located at 55 Johnson Avenue Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. The 2011 Miss Irvington Queen, Katie Ann Null, will give her crown as she prepares to represent the Irvington Halloween festival at the 2012 Indiana State Festival Pageant in November. A suggested donation of $5.00 towards the scholarship fund is appreciated.
